The MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics is a three-year full-time postgraduate program designed to train students in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and associated periradicular conditions. The program focuses on preserving natural teeth through advanced restorative and endodontic procedures. Hands-on experience forms a major component of the program, with students performing a wide range of procedures under expert supervision. Access to advanced equipment such as surgical operating microscopes, digital imaging, and laser systems ensures comprehensive clinical exposure. Students are trained in advanced techniques including: Laser-assisted cavity and root canal preparations Regenerative protocols for deep carious lesions Micro-surgical management of periapical pathology Multidisciplinary planning for complex dental conditions The program equips graduates with specialized clinical skills, research acumen, and the ability to contribute to advancements in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

Admission Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Mandatory Degree: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized dental college or university in India. Internship Requirement: Completion of a 12-month compulsory rotating internship after the final BDS examination. Registration: Provisional or permanent registration with the State Dental Council. Entrance Examination: NEET-MDS: Candidates must qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET-MDS), conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Minimum Marks: General Category: 55% aggregate marks in BDS. SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 50% aggregate marks in BDS. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit specified by the Dental Council of India for MDS admissions. Nationality: Indian Nationals : Eligible to apply. Foreign Nationals: Eligible, subject to obtaining temporary registration with the Dental Council of India for the duration of the postgraduate training.
