If you’re looking for an MBA programme that can help you rapidly progress in your field, then you may want to consider an Accelerator MBA.
Designed for candidates looking for early- and mid-stage career development, Accelerator MBAs enable you to develop your knowledge and skills without taking time out from work, thus ensuring you can instantly apply your learning to your career.
Warwick Business School’s Accelerator MBA combines face-to-face learning and networking opportunities at their London base at The Shard, with high-tech digital learning using ‘enhanced reality’ technology.
To learn more about the Accelerator MBA programme at WBS, we spoke to Graeme Morgan, Interim Director of Recruitment.
How would you describe the ideal candidate for the Accelerator MBA programme?
Ideal candidates are high potential, ambitious individuals in their early to mid-career. They’ll be able to demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit, as well as their progression and tangible achievements in driving change in their career to date and positively impacting society.
While they don’t necessarily have to be in a managerial position, they’ll aspire to move into management and leadership, and be able to give examples of the experience they have gained to support their journey.
How does the structure of the programme benefit candidates looking for an MBA without taking significant time away from work?
The Accelerator MBA is perfect for anyone seeking an MBA that means they don’t have to build in significant time away from work. It’s taught on a modular basis at our London base at The Shard, with each module lasting three to four days (Thurs–Sat / Weds–Sat), and breaks of at least six weeks between in-person teaching blocks.
This makes it easier to shift between modules and plan for the next with enough time to organise workload. The course is delivered via blended learning, with 80 percent delivered in person and 20 percent online. Online sessions are usually short and scheduled in the evening, again supporting candidates’ work/life balance.
