The Master's Degree in Art Education and Cultural Development is an innovative training project that promotes entrepreneurship from the perspective of artistic education, which assumes as its own the plastic and visual arts, music, dance, theater, cinema and literature in their dimension as a concept, expression and representation, integrating in a definitive way. to offer a repertoire of artistic solutions, which intellectually prepares the professional to insert themselves in the transformations of contemporary society that bring with them new codes of interpretation of creative thinking of high levels of complexity mediated by technologies.
The Master's Degree in Art Education and Cultural Development provides a theoretical-methodological training structured in a developmental conception of constructive alignment of the formative process, participatory and based on problems that delve into the culture of research, theoretical concepts, the practice of the different manifestations of art, its main exponents and the creative processes that are produced through the different trends. and artistic-cultural movements mediated by expressive techniques and languages; to contribute to the construction of a dynamic structure of thought in the theoretical and conceptual formation of art and its manifestations.

Admission Requirements
• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.
• Original Birth Certificate. (If from abroad, legalized at the Dominican Consulate in the country of origin or apostilled, as applicable).
• Original Grade Transcript, legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (MESCyT). See validation instructions for foreign studies.
• Copy of the Degree Title, legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (MESCyT).
• Official medical certification properly signed and stamped, valid for no more than three (3) months at the time of submission, by a licensed physician in the Dominican Republic.
• National ID card or Electoral Identification Card, or Passport (photocopy). (For foreigners, documentation demonstrating their immigrant status allowing them to study in the Dominican Republic is required. Expand documentation.
Photocopy of the passport plus one of these valid documents:
Student visa + student card (issued by the General Directorate of Migration)
Work visa + student card (issued by the General Directorate of Migration)
Foreigners' regularization plan card
Dominican resident ID
• 2 Passport-sized Photos (2x2).
• Pass the required leveling courses for each program.
For Doctorate applicants:
• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.
• 2 Passport-sized Photos (2x2).
• Original Birth Certificate (Apostilled and translated if foreign).
• Letter of motivation to pursue the Doctorate program.
• Postgraduate certification legalized by MESCyT (Apostilled and translated if foreign).
• Official medical certification properly signed and stamped, valid for no more than three (3) months at the time of submission, by a licensed physician in the Dominican Republic.
• Two recommendation letters from specialists in their professional/academic area.
• Photocopy of the ID card (passport and student visa copy if foreign).
• Postgraduate grade transcript legalized by MESCyT (Apostilled and translated if foreign).- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
