DTo study (orally and in writing) academic and diverse topics in the area of French, through communicative situations, in order to apply them in the teaching-learning process of the area of foreign languages in professional and educational contexts.

CE2. Understand and produce information in French, in a general and specific way, through oral, written and varied communicative situations, in order to strengthen communicative competence and solve linguistic needs by showing an attitude of respect and cooperation in varied multicultural contexts.

CE3. Critically understand the content of texts written in French, based on the ideas and intentions contained in these discourses, in order to use them as learning knowledge and put them into practice to solve problems in teaching, professional and social contexts.

CE4. Produce written discourses, in French, with coherence and cohesion referring to contexts: teaching, professional and general, through diverse communicative situations to put them into practice in diverse contexts from a comprehensive, dynamic, international and interdisciplinary perspective.

CE5. To promote and value the French language, as a means of communication and understanding between people, through diverse situations, in order to discriminate against the different linguistic and cultural stereotypes that are manifested in professional and educational contexts inside and outside the Dominican Republic.

CE6. To analyse the different linguistic changes in French, through the use and historical manifestations that French speakers have made in order to assess and apprehend the importance of French culture and the meaning of the cultural relations that imply its evolution.

CE7. To analyse French literature, through literary texts, on the basis of the construction of ideas that promote the mastery of French culture and to contribute to academic and cultural training in order to subsequently put them into practice in educational and professional contexts.

CE8. Reflect on the linguistic units, levels and representatives of the French language, through contributions from different linguistic studies, in order to know their importance, incidences and implications and apply them in teaching-learning processes in educational, professional and diverse contexts.

CE9. Implement and execute pedagogical activities, through visits to educational centers and the development of instruments that correspond to action research, to obtain the experience of building knowledge and being able to apply it with mastery and confidence in school contexts.

CE10. Develop online learning strategies, resources and activities, through applications and technological platforms to be used in the teaching and learning of French in educational, social and multicultural contexts.

For applicants who completed high school in the Dominican Republic:

• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.

• Original Birth Certificate. (If from abroad, it must be legalized at the Dominican Consulate in the country of origin or apostilled, as applicable).

• Original High School Transcript.

• Original Secondary Education Certification issued by the Ministry of Education (MINERD).

• Official medical certification properly signed and stamped, valid for no more than three (3) months at the time of submission, by a licensed physician in the Dominican Republic.

• National ID card or Electoral Identification Card, or Passport (photocopy). (For foreigners, documentation demonstrating their immigrant status allowing them to study in the Dominican Republic is required). Expand documentation.

• 2 Passport-sized Photos (2x2).

• Pass the required entrance exams.

For applicants who completed high school abroad:

• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.

Inactive status is generated by having withdrawn the semester; i.e., total withdrawal; for not having completed the previous semester or previous semesters.
