Graduates of the Computer Systems Engineering program at UNAPEC must possess the following competencies:
- Develops software, configures and operates network infrastructure.
- It administers and manages databases, as well as the knowledge of offering security services in information technology, for national and international commercialization in all world scenarios, taking advantage of its use.
- It maintains an upright, ethical and socially responsible behavior in its work at a national and international level, respecting diversity.
- Understands the legal environment and applies the quality and safety regulations used globally in the management of international operations.
- Communicates effectively orally and in writing in Spanish, at an advanced level in English, and possesses basic knowledge of a third language.
- It designs national and international competitiveness strategies that favor the positioning of Dominican products and services in global markets.
- He develops new businesses nationally and internationally by designing strategies from the perspective of financial resources, quality, time and costs.
- It manages financial, human, material and technological resources to maximise the profitability of stakeholders.
- He manages the Organization's technological platform, understanding its importance internally and its impact on business competitiveness.
- Plans, coordinates and directs the research and design of the Organization's projects that require computer and technological support.
- It coordinates project deployment activities that involve the innovation, updating and maintenance of hardware, software and security of access to technological resources.
- Identify the information needs in each of the functional areas and develop proposals to meet them.

Admission Requirements
For applicants who completed high school in the Dominican Republic:
• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.
• Original Birth Certificate. (If from abroad, it must be legalized at the Dominican Consulate in the country of origin or apostilled, as applicable).
• Original High School Transcript.
• Original Secondary Education Certification issued by the Ministry of Education (MINERD).
• Official medical certification properly signed and stamped, valid for no more than three (3) months at the time of submission, by a licensed physician in the Dominican Republic.
• National ID card or Electoral Identification Card, or Passport (photocopy). (For foreigners, documentation demonstrating their immigrant status allowing them to study in the Dominican Republic is required). Expand documentation.
• 2 Passport-sized Photos (2x2).
• Pass the required entrance exams.
For applicants who completed high school abroad:
• Complete the admission form available on the Admissions Portal. Access the form.

• Original High School Transcript, homologating the grades.
• Original Secondary Education Certification issued by the Ministry of Education (MINERD), homologating the degree. See instructions for homologation.

• National ID card or Electoral Identification Card, or Passport (photocopy). (For foreigners, documentation demonstrating their immigrant status allowing them to study in the Dominican Republic is required). Expand documentation.
