It is hoped that, upon completion of the postgraduate course, Doctors in Education will be able to develop original and innovative research that provides solutions to the main current educational problems.

Admission Requirements
- Degree training- Uruguayan university degree, degree obtained at a foreign university (with official recognition in the country of origin), or Uruguayan teaching degree (issued by teacher training institutes dependent on or authorized by the National Public Education Administration).
- Postgraduate training- Master's degree or postgraduate specialization, obtained from an academic center with official recognition.
