The Bachelor of Communication takes place over four years: during the first, a common basic cycle is studied and in the second, the student must choose one of the four orientations to complete their training. In this case, Journalism. The career proposes you to know in depth the different professional orientations during the first year, after studying specific subjects of each of them of your choice. If you are interested in exploring the Journalism orientation, the subject you can take is Introduction to Journalism. It is a workshop in which the different forms of journalism are delved into from prominent guests in different disciplines such as fact checking, fashion journalism, gastronomy, health and science, among others. Based on the analysis of specific cases, films and television series, the main dilemmas and the vital importance of journalism in a hyperconnected world plagued by misinformation are discussed.

Admission Requirements

  • All high school orientations.
  • Students from other universities with at least one approved subject, regardless of the baccalaureate previously completed; subject to background analysis by the coordination of the corresponding career.
Foreign Students

  • Students who completed their secondary education abroad must present the corresponding certificate of studies, apostilled or with consular legalization, in order to be admitted to undergraduate studies at the university.
