Admission Requirements
Admission criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must have achieved at least one of the following minimum entry requirements and demonstrate they fulfil any prerequisite and essential criteria for admission. In cases where there are more eligible applicants than available places, admission will be competitive with ranks based on the entry criteria.
- A completed bachelor (AQF level 7) or bachelor honours (AQF level 8) degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution; OR
- A completed nested or related graduate certificate (AQF level 8) or higher or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution.
This degree requires a Grade Point Average (GPA) equivalent to an Adelaide University 4.0 on a 7-point scale for entry.
Additional requirements
Applicants must submit a portfolio of work, curriculum vitae and a written statement of intent.
- Portfolio of work: a digital portfolio of up to 15 images of works. List all images with name, title, date, medium and dimensions;
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): include your drawing software experience and career achievements, with particular emphasis on those relevant to your proposed program of study;
- Statement of intent: outline your overall career objectives for undertaking the proposed program of study, together with a summary of your specific aims for developing your creative and professional skills. Make sure you identify your chosen discipline area. This statement must be 500 words or less.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
