Admission Requirements

Admission to the M.Tech. programme is transparent and merit-based. Candidates are admitted through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) based on Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) ranks. Candidates possessing valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores are also eligible for admission in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Karnataka, KEA, AICTE, and Visvesvaraya Technological University.

The eligibility criteria for admission require candidates to have passed B.E./B.Tech. from Visvesvaraya Technological University or any other recognised university in the relevant discipline. Candidates must satisfy the minimum qualifying marks and other admission requirements prescribed by the Government of Karnataka and VTU from time to time. Candidates holding degrees obtained through distance education are not eligible for admission to the M.Tech. programme.
