Admission Requirements

Admission to the B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme shall be as per the regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), the Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Pass in 10+2 (Second PUC or equivalent examination) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Technical Vocational subjects, as prescribed by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka.
  • Obtain the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the Government of Karnataka/KEA/VTU for the respective category.
  • Admission is generally through KCET, UGET, or other admission procedures approved by the Government of Karnataka.
  • Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations from Boards or Universities outside Karnataka must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from VTU before admission.
  • Lateral Entry to the third semester is permitted for eligible Diploma and B.Sc. candidates as per the norms of VTU, AICTE, the Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
