Admission Requirements
Admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme shall be as per the regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), the Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in BCA, Computer Science and Engineering, or an equivalent degree; or
- A Bachelor's degree in B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., or any other recognized degree, preferably with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level.
- Candidates without a Mathematics background are required to complete the bridge courses prescribed by VTU.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates of Karnataka, as per Government norms).
- Admission is made through the admission procedure prescribed by the Government of Karnataka/KEA and VTU
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
