Bachelor of Business Administration

The School of Business (SoB) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) started its journey along with other departments of the University in 1995. This school is the sole one under the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The SoB-AUST sets its goal to make the students competent to face the challenges of business world as well as non-business organizations with state-of-art knowledge, expertise and skills in diversified areas to transform those into sustainable and winning organizations. It aims to prepare the students to work as effective leaders and decision makers in a challenging environment in different cultural settings. The School has experienced faculty members with strong research background. The SoB-AUST provides a platform to help business students stay involved and motivated for endless learning.

Nowadays, business education is not complete if it is not blended with practical exposure to the necessary theoretical part. For this purpose, students are sent to different enterprises/factories for acquiring firsthand knowledge where they will be working in future. Moreover, guest lectures and seminars are arranged to share the high expertise possessed by the reputed and competent resource persons. In the absence of recreation facilities, education life becomes bored and monotonous; hence orientation & reception for the Newcomers and farewell ceremonies for the outgoing students, coupled with cultural functions are arranged. Side by side students, under the leadership of some teachers, often join picnics and pleasure tours.
