Nurses are key players at the heart of emergency efforts in the healthcare sector. However, despite their critical role and constant demand for emergency nurses worldwide, hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) lack available expert nurses for emergencies and disasters.
Program Goals:
To offer experienced nurses the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively as nursing practitioner, supervisor, collaborator, and educator in a wide range of emergency situations and disaster events.
To prepare experienced nurses to effectively act in accordance with ethical requirements, values, and human dignity to all areas of practice.
To equip experienced nurses with the required leadership and research skills to improve emergency and disaster nursing practice.
