Almaarefa College of Medicine program offers the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), which requires six years of study and one year of internship (a total of 222 credit hours). The students in the College are required to complete successfully a set of courses that are taken over three phases. The first is a one-year (two semesters) premedical phase. The second is a two and a half-year (five semesters) basic sciences phase, in which students study all body systems in integrated blocks with clinical relevance. The third phase is two and a half-year (five semesters) phase composed of clinical rotations in the different fields of Medicine and Surgery. One-year (12 months) Internship is required after completion of all courses before official graduation

Previous Bachelor's GPA - The GPA must not be less than "High Very Good" (3 out of 4 or 4 out of 5). High School GPA - GPA must not be less than 85% Graduate Aptitude Test - Must not be less than 70%. Passing the personal interview - Passing the personal interview is required for university admission. Passing the Physical Fitness Test - Passing the physical fitness requirements for university admission. Previous Studies - The student must have studied at a recognized college or university. Bachelor's Degree Specialization - The bachelor's degree must be in health-related disciplines. Interruption of Studies - The applicant must not have been out of study or work in the healthcare field for more than two years. Curriculum Vitae (CV) - Submit a CV of the applicant along with two recommendations from a university professor holding a bachelor’s degree Course Equivalency - Equating academic courses according to the university's equivalency system in line with the Study and Examination Regulations, provided that no less than 60% of the coursework is completed at the university. Admission - Admission is based on competition according to regulations, available seats, and the approval of the College Council.
