The Bachelor in Computer Science (English) program is designed to provide a practical scientific qualification that meets the needs of the market and according to design approaches and logical analysis of software requirements and system development in various fields of computer science such as desktop software, web and mobile applications, databases and other areas that have been supported by many courses that require the student to develop his theoretical and applied knowledge, refining analytical and critical thinking skills, and the use of scientific research methods and modern communication technologies to be ready to face the challenges and renewed opportunities of the Bahraini and Gulf market. Through the study, students ’capabilities are built, strengthened and developed to practice the specialization through theoretical lectures and practical sessions in a specialized computer laboratories and critical studies.

Applicants should obtain a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent certified by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain with an average of no less than 60% or equivalent. In some programmes, the applicants admitted from non-scientific secondary school fields should pass remedial courses. All applicants admitted to the University should take a compulsory placement test - determined by the University - to determine their English language level.
