Media Production is an industry-focused course with its core disciplines being film, audio production and digital media design, underpinned by scriptwriting. Students engage with each of these in their first year. The second year allows you to build on this as you learn to work across media forms and platforms in ways that reflect many of the changes that media industries are currently undergoing. By the third year you can specialise, and much of the focus is on your Graduate Production Project, a piece of work developed and made in whatever media form (or forms) you choose to work. This will give you a calling card on graduation to aid your success in this challenging but rewarding industry.
