You'll develop production and screenwriting research skills, as well as studying how to develop projects (through pre-production, production and post) in industry contexts. Covering everything from fiction and documentary production and news gathering to music videos and external client filming. You'll also have opportunities to create a showreel.

We’ll help you understand the complexities of visual storytelling with specialist modules on film forma and storyboarding. You’ll cover camera, lighting, sound, editing and all elements of planning and pre-production, bringing them together to produce a range of fiction and non-fiction films. You'll also benefit from filming weeks and filming live events, all of these have different demands and require flexible and organised thinking.
