You’ll study the core business concepts and strategies associated with hotel and event management, including getting to know the industry landscape, from how we do digital marketing and communications, manage guest experiences, and dive into planning and operations. You’ll also have the opportunity to study event design and planning and running your own events.
Study more specialised subjects focused on technology and innovation, and food and beverage management. You’ll also investigate research methods in hotel and events management. Research and development of new concepts, ways of working and more applies to all industries and the hotel industry is no different.
You’ll explore critical, contemporary issues; ethics and sustainability; financial management and leadership – including a live industry research project that will give you the opportunity to explore into a specialised area of your interest. During this project you’ll be matched with an industry partner who you’ll work on the project with.
