This innovative programme aims to support clinicians and other health care professionals, who have a special interest in managing and leading care in older adults, to deliver novel, transformational approaches, improving the quality of care for the older adult from theoretical and patient-based care to population-based care.

Our curriculum provides an up-to-date educational experience that fulfils the needs of healthcare services in supporting the development of outstanding care for the future within the field of geriatrics. We’ll help you to identify where the gaps lie in the current state of care that is delivered from a systems perspective, and we will support you in reaching the correct diagnosis and management, addressing unmet clinical needs.

- A fully comprehensive programme of education for healthcare professionals in the field of geriatrics, aligned to key competencies within medical and health care development pathways

Admission Requirements
With your online application you will need to provide:
- A copy of your degree certificate and transcripts which show you have achieved a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject area including dietetics, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, speech and language therapy or medicine or an equivalent international degree. If your degree certificate or result is pending, please upload any interim transcripts or provisional certificates. If you are uncertain whether your degree meets the criteria, please feel free to make contact and we will be able to advise further.
- A copy of your IELTS certificate with an overall score of 6.5 with 5.5 in all subskills, or evidence of an accepted equivalent. Please include the date of your expected test if this qualification is pending. If you have alternative acceptable evidence, such as an undergraduate degree studied in the UK, please supply this in place of an IELTS.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
