The Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (thesis or non-thesis option) requires 30 credit hours. The Graduate School at Mines is open to graduates from four-year baccalaureate programs at recognized colleges and universities. To be a candidate for a graduate degree, students must have completed an appropriate undergraduate degree program. Other English Language Requirements: A TOEFL?(Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 550 on the paper-based; A PTE?A (Pearson test of English) score of 70 or higher.
