This program provides specialized knowledge and skills in dealing with crime and its legal repercussions, new criminal threats and emerging criminal codes.
The LLM in Criminal Law at EUC seeks to not only deepen students’ knowledge of substantive and procedural criminal law, but also increase their understanding of new forms of crime such as cybercrime, terrorism, trafficking and environmental crime. Students gain skills in contemporary criminal law issues and European criminal codes.

Founded in 1961, European University Cyprus (EUC) was granted university status in 2007. It is the first Greek university to be awarded the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Label by the European Commission, one of only 40 European institutions with this distinction. EUC’s Center for Applied Research was established in 1991 as an independent, non-governmental institution, providing market research, training, and consultancy services to public and private sector clients. The Center also emphasizes the importance of accurate, ethical data collection, sharing the findings of CAR projects as widely as possible. EUC’s faculty collaborates with scientists from some of world’s best universities including Harvard, Oxford, Imperial College London, Cambridge, University College London, King’s College London, Queen Mary, and the University of London. EUC’s researchers coordinate or participate in a number of prestigious projects funded by the European Commission and the Research Promotion Foundation in Cyprus.
All Master’s and PhD Programs have been approved by the Accreditation Committee of Private Universities of the Ministry of Education and Culture and are recognized worldwide. European University Cyprus has six schools: the School of Arts and Education Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Sciences, the School of Medicine and the School of Law.
