something permanent, something with a life beyond their own – something only
sound can achieve. Students are expected to meet the standards and requirements
of the UK Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) accreditation, and that
includes obtaining a minimum of 15 days internship/work experience in a
professional news and broadcast journalism production workplace, as well as
having a professional understanding of public affairs, interpretation of media
statistics, applying maths in journalism, and effective working knowledge of
current affairs
