This transdisciplinary programme is designed for students who are business-minded and wish to pursue a career in the entertainment business. It will educate graduates who are well-versed both in creative industries and business. Entertainment business has a very broad coverage: film, music, media, gaming, cultural events and performances. As it has seen rapid development in Hong Kong and the Mainland in recent years, there is a strong need for specialists who can perform a wide range of duties including finance, marketing, administration, audience development, education and beyond. More importantly, as technologies are changing the viewer experience drastically, the business constantly looks for specialists who can push for the future forms of entertainment.

Ever since its establishment, the Graduate School has grown rapidly both in terms of the spectrum of programmes offered, the number of students enrolled, and the diversity of research projects it manages. Currently, the number of postgraduate students accounts for approximately 40% of the University's total enrolment and there are also over 700 ongoing research projects, generating research outputs that attract international collaboration and recognition.
