Doctor of Food Science program aims to produce graduates who are able to relate knowledge about chemical structure and properties as well as chemical interactions of food components with different chemical phenomena that occur in food systems. This program helps graduates to be able to describe engineering principles and chemical analysis methods and instrumentation techniques, choose food analysis methods according to material properties, and their application in food systems. Graduates will be able to evaluate various transfer phenomena (mass, energy and momentum) in various operating units of the food industry to design various processing, preservation and product development techniques to produce safe, quality and nutritious food.
