Master in Biochemistry program aims to become a superior and leading higher education institution in education, research and community service capable of contributing to the development of biochemical science and technology at the national and international levels to encourage and strengthen the nation's dignity. To achieve this vision, the program sets an implementation mission which includes: organizing quality education and teaching in preparing excellent and professional educated people in developing Biochemistry science and technology in accordance with scientific developments and community needs both at the national level as well as internationally; conduct research activities to develop and produce science and technology innovations that can contribute to society in utilizing, apply and develop biochemical science and technology for the progress of the nation; disseminate the results of science and technology innovations through community service activities as an effort to enlighten, benefit and improve the quality of life in a sustainable manner.

Bachelor’s Degree in IPB University is a four-year program. Since 2005, IPB University has offered the major-minor curriculum that allows students to choose from more than 500 combinations of competencies. This opportunity allows scholars of IPB University to obtain double competencies, even a double degree to enable them to compete in the job market. Their competencies are not limited to the activities of on-farm agriculture, but also off-farm agricultural activities which cover, among others, agribusiness and agro-industry. There are 10 faculties and 39 study programs to choose from.
