Master in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology program aims to produce graduates who are able to solve problems in the field of plant genetics, management and genetic resources, analysis of genetic diversity, recombinant assembly and selection, design of field tests and data analysis through conventional approaches and or biotechnology in a proven way through inter or multidisciplinary approaches. This program helps graduates to master the knowledge about about plant genetic material, expression process and inheritance pattern; diversity assembly, analysis of genetic diversity and handling of segregants in order to improve plant genetics; plant genetic engineering techniques in order to improve plant genetics; experimental design for field and laboratory testing and data analysis; selection methods for plant genetic improvement; adaptability and stability of plant genotypes based on interaction analysis of genetic and environmental factors.
