The major has a progressive and relative course design that enables students to learn the major areas within an organization and create a broad search for career opportunities upon graduation. Classes such as accounting, statistics, management, marketing, and finance, among others, will prepare students for the essential areas within business. So no matter what industry a student may be interested in upon graduation, a degree in general business will have prepared him or her for the next step. Jacksonville University business graduates have gone on to successful careers in a variety of areas, both in the public and private sector domains. A number of key executives and upper-management positions are now being performed by Davis College of Business graduates.
