Master of Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology

This master’s programme prepares you for assessing the impact of new technologies and solving difficult problems. You learn to analyse, design, and implement analogue and digital electronic systems, information systems and communication systems.

About the programme

The master’s programme in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology gives you a broad basis of general skills and technical knowledge. At the same time, you feel at home in the fascinating world of information processing. Based on your knowledge of electronics and ICT, you can correctly estimate the operation and the impact of the technologies used. You can analyse both existing analogue and digital electronic systems and design and implement new systems. You are also able to analyse, design and implement complex information and communication systems.

To compile your programme, you select an R&D Experience; this gives you the opportunity to realise a challenging project in a team context. Next, you choose an elective course (either an internship, or the course Management and another elective course). Finally, you select one of the two focuses: Advanced Electronics (more hardware-oriented) or Software Systems (more software-oriented).

Career perspectives

Upon completion of the programme you will be a sought-after Engineering Technology expert, with a broad foundation of general skills and technical knowledge. You will be familiar with the world of information processing and prepared to play a role in the development of a variety of digital media applications, from consumer devices to custom stand-alone or networked applications.
