This programme focuses on the effective use of IT across finance, marketing, HR, production, and logistics. Building on a technological foundation, you develop the management skills to apply technology in modern business contexts.
Which specialisations are available?
The Master of Science in Information Management (60 ECTS) is a master’s programme in which you can specialise in the following fields:
- Data Science Electives
- Software Engineering Electives
- Management Electives
These electives enable you to either explore specific areas in greater depth or gain a broader understanding through a multidisciplinary approach. In completing your master’s thesis, you can apply the acquired skills within a specific business context.
Why study Information Management at KU Leuven?
The Information Management programme offers you advanced, non-technical training in information management. The multi - disciplinary programme provides basic training in technology as well as in-depth insights into specific management issues. The focus lies on analysing information needs, designing and managing information systems. This leads to conceptualising an IT-strategy that fits in with the overall business strategy, and ultimately in an effective information system serving the needs of the company.
This programme is also available in Dutch.
