Lingnan University launched a two-year part-time Master of Cultural Studies (MCS) program in 2003, and added a one-year full-time program in September 2012. The MCS is a thematically focused, challenging, critical, and original educational design.

- hold a relevant bachelor’s degree awarded by a tertiary education institution recognised for this purpose by the University; or
- have obtained an equivalent qualification; or
- have provided satisfactory evidence of academic and professional attainment.
