Our Pharmaceutical Science (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) is a four-year degree that provides the ideal start if you wish to pursue a career in pharmaceutical science, but don't have the necessary entry requirements to study a three-year course in pharmaceutical science. This degree will help you make a difference to people lives though the development of new drugs for treating disease and with its built-in foundation year you'll learn the key principles of pharmacology that will help you to progress through the rest of your course.

Admission Requirements
In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, you should have:
- at least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma)
- English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
Applicants who meet the UCAS points criteria but who obtained a D/grade 3 in English and/or Maths at GCSE may be offered a University test in these areas.
