The Master’s program in "Intelligence for National and International Security", involving university professors and both Italian and international experts in the field, aims to provide an in-depth understanding of current and future scenarios. This knowledge will enable participants to act proactively and predictively on socio-political and geo-economic issues, both internal and external, in public and private sectors.

Through multidisciplinary theoretical and practical teachings, the Master aims to convey the concept of "Intelligence Culture"—a concept widely promoted by Law No. 124 of 2007, which reformed the Italian Intelligence and Security System. The program will comprehensively cover the study of intelligence, the security of the "Country System" and its critical infrastructures, as well as the interconnected international scenarios.

The current international landscape is characterized by the availability of vast amounts of diverse information and, simultaneously, increasingly complex, undefined, and interconnected scenarios. These conditions bring about new risks and security demands for both public and private sectors. For this reason, it is essential to have access to all the necessary tools to gather, manage, process, and analyze information in order to navigate one’s operational context—whether institutional or private—and to understand its continuous evolution.

In a global scenario where the power of states is being significantly diminished and challenged by both financial multinationals and criminal organizations, the Master’s program in "Intelligence for National and International Security" aims to train a new generation of experts capable of operating in the fields of national and international security, both public and private. This is achieved through interdisciplinary knowledge, focusing on international socio-cultural contexts, cybersecurity, industrial, economic, and financial intelligence, as well as operational intelligence methodologies designed to safeguard critical infrastructures essential to the Country System. The program also caters to professionals from public administration or the economic-industrial sectors, providing an opportunity for professional development in line with the most advanced national and international standards.

Possessing and managing information, whether in institutional or private contexts, creates the need to protect this information, regardless of its confidentiality level, while also ensuring the protection of critical infrastructures from new cyber threats.

For these reasons, public institutions, law enforcement, armed forces, governments, and companies are increasingly seeking professionals capable of organizing and managing intelligence activities. These activities utilize both traditional, yet effective, intelligence methods as well as the most modern tools of digital technology.
