The Master of Fine Arts in Digital Design (MFADD) is a low-residency 60-credit to 75-credit terminal graduate program credential designed to offer paths for students entering with varying levels of previous knowledge and experience. For students with minimal previous formal design experience, or none at all, the degree offers up to 15 credits of preparatory course work. These courses are designed to address deficiencies in areas of basic 2D color and composition, 3D modeling and composition, 4D video and animation and history of art and design identified in the undergraduate transcript and portfolio review process. They are offered to position students for success in any of the graduate Digital Design concentrations.
