Seven specializations can be chosen: Additive manufacturing, Automation, Mechanical design, Mechanical production, Plant and system design, Propulsion of land vehicles, and Transports. Job opportunities are mainly in positions of responsibility and coordination in industries dealing with components, machines, systems and mechanical electro-mechanical or metallurgical systems, processing and manufacturing, vehicle manufacturers, organizations in energy conversion, service companies, and industrial consulting and public administration. Finally, the MSc in engineering allows to start a freelance professional career. The degree program trains a mechanical engineer to match various profles: from designer of systems and mechanical assemblies to designer of production systems, from engineer for the design and maintenance of transport systems, plants and terminals, to engineer in charge of the management and operation of systems, facilities and infrastructure for the transport of people and goods. The high level of technical and scientifc knowledge allows for immediate working opportunities or the pursuit of a further specialisation with a II level Master or a PhD program, intended for those having a strong vocation for research.
