The MSc Financial Management aims to produce responsible financial management specialists who will be able to contribute and craft their career in the finance sector globally and in Asia. Students will study a variety of innovative and contemporary topics including corporate finance, business valuation, financial modelling techniques, financial technology, data analytics, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) financing, international cash, liquidity and treasury management and more. This programme is accredited by the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) – the chartered professional body for treasury in the UK. You will: Appreciate the global nature of corporate finance abreast ethics, governance and regulations; Demonstrate knowledge and skills to manage treasury related activities, financial and various types of business risks; Develop competencies to interpret and analyse financial statements; valuate businesses and company securities for reporting; Apply theoretical knowledge, practical skills, tools and techniques in a written dissertation.

SIM offers over 80 undergraduate courses in the areas of Arts and Social Sciences, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business & Management, and Information Technology (including Data Science, Cyber Security, Game Development, and Digital System Security).

The usual entry requirements for undergraduate programmes are ‘A’ level, IB Diploma, or Year 12 of Senior High School.  Applicants must also show proof of English proficiency. 


The average tuition fees range from S$10,000 – S$23,000 per annum.  The fee is dependent on the course and university awarding the qualification.

All undergraduate students at SIM pay full tuition fees. However, applicants with exemplary academic results may apply for the SIM Global Education Scholarship.

There are 35 postgraduate courses offered ranging from postgraduate certificate to master’s degrees covering:

The usual entry requirements include a bachelor’s degree (second class upper, or B average). Applicants will be required to submit proof of English proficiency or attend an interview with the programme director.

The average tuition fees range from S$28,000 to S$36,000 for a one-year and two-year postgraduate courses respectively.

All postgraduate students at SIM pay the full tuition fees.
