The philosophy underlying the programme is that a rapidly changing world requires adaptable analytical skills.  This degree is designed to develop broad business skills as well as more specialised technical knowledge in the fields of economics and finance. Students will gain a theoretical and practical perspective of the modern finance industry and will analyse the economic context relating to real issues such as inflation, unemployment, taxation, global finance and trade, inequality, international competition, consumer behaviour and economic growth. The business world is competitive, demanding that you have the right qualification, skills and domain knowledge to survive and thrive. Taught by both RMIT Academic Staff and local lecturers, this course of study leads to a fully accredited Australian degree.

SIM offers over 80 undergraduate courses in the areas of Arts and Social Sciences, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business & Management, and Information Technology (including Data Science, Cyber Security, Game Development, and Digital System Security).

The usual entry requirements for undergraduate programmes are ‘A’ level, IB Diploma, or Year 12 of Senior High School.  Applicants must also show proof of English proficiency. 


The average tuition fees range from S$10,000 – S$23,000 per annum.  The fee is dependent on the course and university awarding the qualification.

All undergraduate students at SIM pay full tuition fees. However, applicants with exemplary academic results may apply for the SIM Global Education Scholarship.

There are 35 postgraduate courses offered ranging from postgraduate certificate to master’s degrees covering:

The usual entry requirements include a bachelor’s degree (second class upper, or B average). Applicants will be required to submit proof of English proficiency or attend an interview with the programme director.

The average tuition fees range from S$28,000 to S$36,000 for a one-year and two-year postgraduate courses respectively.

All postgraduate students at SIM pay the full tuition fees.
