This is the motto of Strate School of Design . Founded in the previous millennium as an industrial design school, Strate has evolved into a hub for shaping the future by training post-industrial designers to tackle the pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges of today and tomorrow.
Design today is no longer just about the beauty of objects—it’s about the beauty of life, grounded in ecological responsibility, social equity, and inclusivity.
How can we enhance people’s lives—from birth to death—across private, public, intimate, and professional contexts, while minimizing environmental impact and fostering social well-being?
How do we navigate complexity, integrate sustainable technologies, and address human motivations and interactions in an interconnected yet resource-constrained world?
Ultimately, how do we foster harmonious living, promoting fairness, inclusion, and resilience within our communities and with the planet?
