At the end of this programme, you will be able to propose a comprehensive concept for transporting people and goods, including:
- A definition of user experience and brand experience related to the mode of transport
- Ergonomics tailored to users’ needs, constraints, and expectations
- An awareness and integration of territorial contexts and the constraints within which mobility systems operate
- The definition of atmospheres, colours, materials, and finishes
You will be able to work across a wide range of sectors (public or individual transport, aeronautics, maritime, etc.), with a triple focus on conceptual, ergonomic, and formal excellence, while systematically integrating environmental considerations.
Throughout the programme, you will work on projects that offer opportunities to rethink the way we move, combining innovation and responsibility to shape a more harmonious and sustainable future.
The educational objectives of the Sustainable Mobility Design programme are to enable students to:
Acquire and master expertise across the main fields of design in response to current and future challenges, supported by a multidisciplinary team and tailored programmes Apply a project-based approach through a modular curriculum and flexible pedagogy, allowing for tailored responses to real-world issues, including a significant proportion of courses taught in English Integrate the humanities, social sciences, and life sciences by approaching design with a critical perspective to diagnose contemporary dysfunctions Build on research by benefiting from the expertise of a team of researchers and integrating the latest advances in design into the curriculum Embrace an ethical dimension of design and develop an awareness of the social and environmental responsibilities of future designers Collaborate within a dynamic ecosystem and engage with a network of partners and companies to shape and enrich the programme in line with current design challenges
