The educational objectives of the Industrial Design program are to enable learners to:
- Acquire and master expertise in the main fields of action of transport & mobility design in the face of current and future challenges, thanks to a multidisciplinary team and tailored training and programs,
- Apply a project-based approach thanks to a modular curriculum and flexible teaching methods tailored to real-life issues, including a significant proportion of courses in English,
- Integrate the humanities, social sciences and life sciences, taking a critical look at design to diagnose contemporary dysfunctions,
- Draw on research: benefit from the expertise of a team of researchers to integrate the latest advances in design into the curriculum,
- Adopt an ethical dimension to design, and become aware of the social and environmental responsibilities incumbent on future designers,
- Collaborate with a dynamic ecosystem and interact with a network of partners and companies to orient and enrich training in line with current design requirements.

Admission Requirements
Admissions
1. Applicants from the French high school system
(in France or French schools abroad)
Applications must be submitted through the Parcoursup platform.
2. Applicants from an international or non-French high school system
You can apply either through Campus France or directly to Strate.
The admission process is designed to assess your creativity, motivation, and potential. It includes:
A high school diploma (or equivalent)
A motivation letter outlining your interest in design
A creative portfolio presenting your projects, ideas, or visual thinking
A 45-minute individual interview with our admissions team
Proof of English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
Parallel Admissions (Advanced Entry)
Join Strate during your studies
Have you already completed one or two years of higher education (e.g. foundation programme, applied arts, BTS, IUT, business or engineering school)?
You may be eligible to join Strate through parallel admissions.
Each year, a limited number of places are available (outside Parcoursup) for entry into the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, for students wishing to continue or redirect their studies towards design.
Strate welcomes students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Entry is possible from art and design schools, as well as engineering or business programmes.
