Design meaningful and responsible products Create engaging, responsible objects by adopting sustainable models—from design to distribution. Trained to address ecological and social challenges, the product designer develops meaningful solutions that combine the physical nature of objects with the intangible aspects of services to deliver fair and desirable user experiences.

The pedagogical objectives of the Product Design programme are to enable students to:

  • Acquire and master expertise across the main fields of design in response to current and future challenges, through a multidisciplinary team and tailored programmes and training,
  • Apply a project-based approach through a modular curriculum and flexible pedagogy, providing customised responses to real-world issues, including a significant proportion of courses taught in English,
  • Integrate the social sciences, humanities, and life sciences by approaching design with a critical perspective in order to diagnose contemporary dysfunctions,
  • Build on research by benefiting from the expertise of a team of researchers and integrating the latest advances in design into the curriculum,
  • Embrace an ethical approach to design and develop awareness of the social and environmental responsibility of future designers,
  • Collaborate within a dynamic ecosystem and engage with a network of partners and companies to guide and enrich the programmes in line with current design requirements.
