Through Business Analytics and Operations Research, learn to merge business, mathematics and statistics with advanced data science and optimization methods. After graduation, you will be ready to take on a wide range of applications, including inventory management, recommendation systems, vehicle routing, and scheduling.
Combine the fields of business, mathematics and statistics to make smarter management decisions based on quantitative tools and data.
Learn theory and state-of-the-art methods to solve complex business problems.
Develop skills to communicate your findings efficiently with decision makers, while discussing real business cases of companies with both academics and professionals.
At the start of your Master's, you are asked to complete a Study Plan. The choice of courses that you make will define the track you are following either the Business Analytics (BA) or the Operations Research (OR) track.
The Business Analytics track teaches you the science of using data to build models that drive decisions, adding value to institutions, companies, and individuals.
The Operation Research track teaches you the discipline focused on developing and applying analytical methods and techniques to improve decision-making. Nearly all of these methods and techniques involve constructing mathematical models that describe the decision-making process in question.
