Quantum physics has radically changed our understanding of nature and revolutionized our society with key findings to modern technologies, such as semiconductors and lasers, among others. Yet, the exploitation and harnessing of quantum phenomena to yield a new generation of quantum-based technologies have just begun. Thanks to the unprecedented progress in the control and manipulation of quantum systems, quantum effects such as entanglement and superpositions offer outstanding prospects for a new generation of devices. The forthcoming technologies will be quantum. The Master in Quantum Technologies and Engineering is offered by UC3M in collaboration with the Spanish Research Council (CSIC), outstanding national institution in the field of quantum technologies. Together, they have designed the program with the aim of training the future generation of scientists and engineers in one of the most promising fields, whose technological applications could have a great impact shaping the society of the future. Covering all the way from basic science to the development of industrial applications, the Master in collaboration with public institutions and world-leading companies in the sector will focus on the most important cornerstones of quantum technologies, Quantum Computing & Simulations (IBM, Banco Santander, …), Quantum Communications & Cryptography (Telefónica, INTA, …) and Quantum Sensing & Metrology (Centro Español de Metrología, Arquimea Research Center, …).
