Since a few years ago the Indonesian government has set East Indonesia as the focus of regional development. Hasanuddin University through the Master in Regional Development Planning study program is one of the main sources that is expected to be able to prepare regional, urban, rural and transportation planners to anticipate the pace of development. The Urban dan Regional Development Planning study program aims to produce outcomes that have interdisciplinary knowledge and insights (social, economic, political, engineering, and other related sciences) to analyze both problems and potential, as well as planning and formulating regional, urban, rural and transportation development policies.
