The Master's in Comparative Cultural Analysis explores culture in the broadest sense - from art, film and new media, to popular culture and social movements - in relation to contemporary issues such as globalisation, technology and social and cultural conflicts and identities.

 The programme is dedicated to critical examination of a wide variety of cultural phenomena from an explicitly theoretical and interdisciplinary perspective. It investigates the many possible dialogues between cultural phenomena and critical theory, while focusing on the socio-political significance of theoretical and interdisciplinairy study.

The Master's programme in Comparative Cultural Analysis is open for application to students with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the Humanities or Social Sciences with an emphasis on theories of contemporary culture, to a minimum of 30 ECTS (equivalent to a full-time semester of academic studies). In exceptional cases, the programme may accept students with a different (i.e. practice-based, such as art school) background who are motivated to follow this programme.
