Become a filmmaker. Create your own films in our dedicated film studio and editing suites. You’ll learn from BAFTA-winning lecturers and visit film festivals. After honing your professional skills in filmmaking, you’ll put them into practice on placement at internationally-renowned companies. On this course you will learn how to make films by doing it! It is a primarily practical course, where you will be 'in production' on at least one film at all times. Regardless of previous experience, you will start by learning each aspect of filmmaking in detail then gradually have the opportunity to specialise more and follow specific pathways. As well as feedback from lecturers, there will be both workshops from and opportunities to work with Mentors from the Film and Television Industry. All of the staff work professionally alongside lecturing and instil that expected practice, whilst also being able to share changes in the Industry as they occur.

Admission Requirements

80+
6+
Grade C in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) are normally required. If you don't meet your tariff points total we will still consider your application.
Mature Applicants: We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
