Designed in collaboration with partners in the NHS, the private and voluntary sector as well as carers and service users, this course will provide you with the skills, experience and confidence necessary for a career in Learning Disabilities Nursing. There will also be a strong emphasis on leadership and shaping a culture of care. The first year will see you learning skills fundamental to providing good quality care while learning to lead and manage yourself, while the second will consider leading and managing care. The third year will focus on leading and managing service to develop your abilities to lead a team and drive service innovation. In conjunction with our partners including the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, we will help you develop the skills and adaptability you need to deliver high quality care in a range of settings. You'll also promote the NHS values and vision, ensuring everyone has greater control of their health and wellbeing.

Mature Applicants: We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
