Designed in collaboration with the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, this course will provide you with experience and confidence, with an emphasis on leadership and shaping a 'culture of care'. The first year will see you learning the fundamental skills for mental healthcare while learning to lead and manage yourself, the second will consider leading and managing care, and the third: leading and managing service to develop your abilities to lead a team and drive service innovation. As well as teaching by experienced nurses and healthcare professionals, placements and practice-based learning are an integral part of the course. From community based recovery teams to acute mental health hospitals, you will get the opportunity to put your learning into practice while you study, all while being supported by our dedicated staff.

Mature Applicants: We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
