Available programs

The University of Guelph offers twelve undergraduate degree programs. You can choose to join the 80.8% of students who study in the areas of science, engineering, business, or arts. Or, you can discover the worlds of computing, landscape architecture or even the environment. The choice is yours! They each offer you a cross-disciplinary and flexible approach to learning.

Usual postgraduate entry requirements for a master’s include a four-year honors degree or any international equivalent from a recognised university, with a minimum score of B- over the last two years of study. At PhD-level, you would also need a master’s degree with a minimum score of B overall as well as evidence that you have strong potential for research.
 
Average tuition fees range between CAD$20,500-28,50 (US$16,900 and US$23,000) per year, although special funding is available to students. All doctoral students receive a minimum stipend of at least US$14,400 for the first three years of study.

Typically, in postgraduate research programs, you need to find a faculty member to conduct research under; otherwise, your research in your selected program won't be approved - especially for funding.
