The Master of Public Health prepares students for careers addressing the present and future needs of public health in Ontario and across the world. Graduates will emerge as influential leaders at the local, national, and international level committed to improving quality of life by protecting and promoting community health, and by anticipating and preventing the spread of disease from both a policy and a science prospective. The MPH program is designed for individuals holding an undergraduate degree in science or applied science who are seeking a career in public health. Students with an honours undergraduate degree without a biological focus may be required to complete the Principles of Disease (PATH*3610) distance education course prior to enrolling.
