University of Mataram

Mataram University is located on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This island which is known for its biodiversity and stunning landscapes not only presents the diversity of nature but also in terms of culture and society. Mataram University has turned the wealth of natural resources from the peak of Mount Rinjani, the expanse of green hills to the marine life that lies in crystal clear waters into an endless research laboratory. The main strength of the University of Mataram lies in research of national and international standards with specific studies, especially in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and human development.

The language of instruction for each Education program at the University of Mataram is Indonesian. However, a number of study programs that have accepted foreign students also use English as an introduction and the University of Mataram also provides Indonesian language courses for foreign speakers to facilitate the learning process and adapt to the surrounding environment.
